The first week of school, practice will be at the boathouse on Wednesday and Thursday only! No practice on Tuesday.
Begining the second week of school, September 13, the practice schedule will be:
Monday - Boathouse (All)
Tuesday - Men : Boathouse 4-8 Women : HS 5-7
Wednesday - Women : Boathouse 4-8 Men : HS 5-7

Practice for the Fall season begins this Saturday, August 28. Meet at the municipal building at 8am for the carpool to the boathouse.
All forms must be turned in by Saturday to start practicing.
New novices must have completed a swim test to practice on the water. If you still need a swim test, e-mail us at usccrew@gmail.com to set one up.

The pool party is still ON! There’s a covered shelter, but the rain should be minimal for the rest of the night.
8:30 – 10:00 Woodland Hill pool (off Boyce Rd. at the end of Bingham Dr.)
Snacks and refreshments provided.
New novices (and Phil), we’ll still be giving swim tests to get ready for Crew Camp in July.
Don’t forget your bathing suit, sweat suit, and a dry set of clothes.

We are here at Nationals! Race today at 1:30. Five teams in our heat:
Lane 1 – St. Joseph’s Collegiate (Philadelphia)
Lane 2 – Upper St. Clair
Lane 3 – The Hun School
Lane 4 – St. Anthony’s
Lane 5 – James River (VA)
1st & 2nd move to semis on Saturday at 11:30. 3rd & 4th move to the "repechage" round @ 4:30 today with a second shot at semis. "Only" have to beat one boat to advance. The boys felt good about their row last night. They've made some adjustments and fine tuning over the last two weeks and are looking for some extra speed. Let them hear you cheering from Pittsburgh!!!

Last Practices For Spring Season

The bus is running for the last two practice sessions at the boathouse on Monday and Tuesday, May 24th and 25th. The Men's Varsity Four will be preparing for Nationals. However, there is plenty of work to do to take care of the equipment. All boats will need to be rigged, washed, and put away for the season. All hands are required to get this done this week.

Carpool for Coxswains, meet at Mantels for 5:45 departure to be at Moraine at 6:45 for Coaches/Coxswains meeting.
Everyone else, report time at 7:00 am. Travel time is 1 hour.
Food crew will start breakfast at 7:00 am also
Girls Ltwt 4+ is first race at 8:00.
Rain likely throughout the day, dress appropriately.
Rowers and 1 parent requested to stay and help deflate buoys and load on TRRA truck at end of the meet! ½ team will be selected by RJ to depart early to go to boathouse and de-rig.

Bus leaves at 4:15. Plan on working to get the shells back in the boathouse, washed down and rigged. No one on the water Tuesday, but getting ready.
Possibly a Boys or Girls 8 on Wednesday and Thursday if the water cooperates. Everyone else will be back at the high school for indoor workout with RJ.
